Telegram’s exclusive partnership with The Open Network (TON) Foundation means that all third-party crypto wallets must now use TON Connect as their sole connection protocol, a TON spokesperson told Cointelegraph.
As part of the partnership, TON is the only supported blockchain for Telegram’s services.
Mini Apps on other blockchains must transition to TON by February 21, including asset bridging, smart contract migration, and adopting TON Connect exclusively.
Telegram will suspend wallets that fail to integrate TON connect.
